The KOTI (President Oh Jaehak) held a Public Hearing on the '2nd Master Plan for the Development of the Drone Industry' in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the KOTI at 2 pm on Wednesday, September 28th. The “Master Plan for the Development of the Drone Industry” is a 10-year legal plan (Article 5 of the Drone Act) that is established every 5 years to set the basic direction of the mid- to long-term development policy of drone industry, and it is the second plan to be established after the establishment of the first plan in 2017. The Second Master Plan for the Development of the Drone Industry (2023-2032) was prepared through overseas case studies, market trends and forecast analysis, and expert advisory meetings in the research service being carried out by the KOTI consortium, which focused on presenting mid- to long-term goals and strategies for future promotion policies of the drone industry based on the drone industry ecosystem built during the first planning period. President Oh said in his opening remarks on the day, "I hope that various ideas and good opinions will be gathered through this public hearing for the development of the drone industry."
