KOTI and Seoul Robotics Sign MOU to Commercialize Autonomous Vehicle-Based Automatic Port Unloading Service
KOTI (President Kim Young-chan) and Seoul Robotics (CEO Lee Han-bin) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the commercialization of an “Autonomous Vehicle-Based Automatic Port Unloading Service,” a key innovation expected to transform future port logistics systems.
This agreement seeks to integrate KOTI’s research expertise in port logistics systems and autonomous driving technologies with Seoul Robotics’ cutting-edge 3D vision solutions, with the goal of developing and commercializing a service model that enables autonomous vehicles to unload cargo from ships to ports without human intervention.
Under this partnership, the two organizations will collaborate in the following areas:
▲ Development and technical validation of autonomous unloading service models
▲ Data sharing and analysis to support the application of autonomous driving technologies in port environments
▲ Joint efforts in demonstration tests and pilot operations
▲ Collaborative research on the standardization of related technologies and improvements to relevant policies and regulatory frameworks
