The Korea Transport Institute (Project Director - Kyungpyo Kang) is leading the development of the SHARING service under the "Development of Automated Driving System Lv.4/4+ based Car-SHARING Service Technologies" project and has completed the development up to the second year.

The SHARING(Shared High Automated vehicle Routing INnovation Group) service allows users to freely use automated vehicles as both passengers and drivers through features such as automatic allocation, automatic pickup, and automatic return based on free-floating. This demonstration took place in the Jeju Advanced Science Park, designated as a pilot test bed for autonmated vehicles with on-site testing that considers real traffic environments. This innovative technology will reduce the need for private car ownership and provide convenient transportation by maximizing efficiency through interconnection with public transportation, thus transforming our lives.

This project will continue for six years until 2027, and the research team is dedicated to developing the SHARING service technology. We appreciate your interest and support! 🤗
