The Korea Transport Institute President Oh Jae-hak and Hyundai Motor Company CEOs Eui-sun Chung Jae-hoon Jang , and Dong-seok Lee announced that they signed a Policy Research Partnership Agreement (MOU) for Revitalization of Demand Response Transportation at Hyundai Techwin Tower on Monday September 18 The business agreement ceremony was attended by officials from both sides , including Korea Transport Institute Director Oh Jae-hak and Hyundai Motor Company SDV Headquarters President Song Chang-hyun, and under this agreement, both sides will ▲ study policies and models for the expansion of demand response transportation ▲ share data to expand demand response transportation in regions in the future. ▲ They announced that they plan to cooperate in holding joint seminars to disseminate research results 

The Korea Transport Institute establishes effective demand-responsive transportation models and policies based on transportation data research technology .Hyundai Motor Company provides operating experience and data for ‘ Shucle ’ , a Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service that allows transfer to public transportation Through this, we plan to establish an optimal system to solve local transportation problems and expand demand response services suited to local conditions. 

Oh Jae-hak, director of the Korea Transport Institute, said , “ We hope to secure leadership in mobility technology and data through cooperation between the Korea Transport Institute, a national research institute, and Hyundai Motor Company, and through this, create a mobility innovation ecosystem .  ” Meanwhile Song Chang-hyeon, head of Hyundai Motor Company’s SDV division, said, “ This cooperation is meaningful in that we are pursuing policy research that will bring about changes in the traditional public transportation system. ” He added, “ Hyundai Motor Company’s DRT operation experience and Korea Transport Institute’s research capabilities will combine to create future mobility innovation.” “It will be an opportunity to advance the process, ” he said .
