KOTI's Training Program on Korea's Transport Policies and Technologies

OVERVIEW

KOTI serves as a role of world-leading transport research institute by sharing Korea's advanced transport technologies and policies with developing countries through its transport training programs.

KOTI'S TRAINING PROGRAM COURSES

  • 1) Aviation Policies in Korea
    To introduce Korea's comprehensive aviation policies, strategies, and technologies regarding airport construction and management
  • 2) Public Bus System
    To introduce Korea's public transportation system and its implementation effects in focus with Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in Seoul metropolitan area, Median Bus Lane system and public transit fare system.
  • 3) ITS Technology of Korea
    To introduce Korea's advance Intelligent Transport System (ITS) with its management know-how and implementa tion effects
  • 4) Technology and Policy of Electric Vehicle of Korea
    To introduce current developmental status and future tasks of Korea's Electric Vehicles (EVs), which spearheads Green Growth, and educate the necessity of the EVs
  • 5) National Transport Survey and Database
    To introduce current situations, survey types and methods of national transport survey which is necessary for efficient and reliable SOC investments and educate a process of national transport database through national transport survey
  • 6) Technology and Construction of High Speed Railway
    To introduce Korea's advanced high-speed rail technologies and current KTX development situations and future construction plan
  • 7) Sustainable Logistics Policies of Korea
    To introduce Korea's current logistics technologies and policies and new logistics technologies to be adopted for green growth
  • 8) Public Bike Rental System of Korea
    To introduce Korea's public bike systems such as those in Goyang city and Changwon city in focus with its management system and expected implementation effects on public health or public leisure pattern
  • 9) Transportation Strategies for Green Growth in Korea
    To introduce green growth oriented transport strategies that has been promoted by the Korean government and its upcoming strategies for green global transport
